How to Obtain a Thailand Pass?

Latest Update: Thailand Pass is No Longer Required Starting from July 1, 2022

Regardless of their vaccination status, anyone can enter Thailand for tourism purposes after May 1, 2022 without mandatory quarantine.

Vaccinated tourists must

  1. Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 more than 14 days before traveling.
  2. Have an applicable medical insurance with a coverage of more than USD 10,000.
  3. Submit your application to the Thailand Pass system when you are ready, and around 5 days prior to the departure from your country.

Unvaccinated Tourists must

  1. Obtain a negative COVID-19 test result (RT-PCR) 72 hours prior to arrival in Thailand.
  2. Have an applicable medical insurance with a coverage of more than USD 10,000.
  3. Submit your application to the Thailand Pass system when you are ready, and around 2-3 days prior to the departure from your country.

How to Apply for a Thailand Pass?

Applicants must prepare the following documents:

  1. Photo of Passport in the .jpg or .png format.
  2. Proof of Insurance with medical coverage in Thailand of at least USD 10,000.
    – The insurance declarations page should be in the .jpg or .png format.
    – Attach all insurance policy pages in the .pdf format at the end of the application.
  3. Vaccinated tourists should submit the vaccination certificate for every dose of Covid-19 vaccination in the .jpg or .png format.
  4. Unvaccinated tourists should submit their Covid-19 RT-PCR Test Result within 72 hours before traveling. The result should be in the .jpg or .png format.
